Just letting everyone know that Carolina Crawlerz (New Bern, NC) will be going to Uwharrie April 8, 9, 10, and 11th. We will be staying in site 36 at Arrowhead Campground for the weekend. Feel free to convoy up with us or meet us there. Should be a fun weekend as the Uwharrie Safari(Land Rover Meet) is going on that weekend and they are always fun to wheel with and meet. Had a good time. We camped up at the top of falls dam (Art Lilly camp sites) More people were there this weekend then there were there on opening weekend. Pretty interesting weekend though. Watched a stock blazer about flip, a lifted razor was hammering the big hole up on falls dam, flooded out big chevy truck (same hole as doug) a huge cj on rocks dropped a shaft in the mud hole. I have some clunking in the rear, Sounds like my drum brakes got mud in them and when i stop hard it clunks in the right rear. Other then that just really dusty as usual. Codi did alot more driving and is really getting the hang of driving on the rocks. She says i make her nervous though, I nit pick i guess. lol

One lesson that every one should rememeber that me and one of my buddys witnessed this weekend. If you are spotting a vehical and the vehical passes you. Watch out from flying rocks coming from the tires. A man (young maybe 19-21) was spotting a grand going up kodiac. When the jeep was starting to slid a bit after he had passed his spotter he laid it to the floor throwing rocks and pebbles everywere. One of the larger stones knocked him straight in the forehead. Blood gushed out of him pretty good, he had a gash about 3-4 inches long down his head to his nose. Safety Safety Safety
