Ladder Bars for SOA???? Needed ASAP
02/09/10 at 21:53:12

Every time I even begin to turn my rear axle sounds like the lug nuts have been loosened and the wheel is poppin in and out. My freind stuck his head out the passenger door and saw the wheel moving all the way up and over and then poppin back when I turned. Forgot to mention, I have a spool in the rear with almost 10 inches of suspension lift...so, Ladder bars are needed ASAP.

Does anyone have ideas on ladder bars for a SOA setup?????????

I strongly recommend you build a traction bar vs. a ladder bar.  With a traction bar you don't gain any bind, where as a ladder bar setup does nothing but cause bind (and stops axle wrap).  A traction bar take a bit longer to build, but isn't much harder, just a couple more moving pieces.
I also recommend getting rid or about 5" of that lift.  10" is completely unnecessary in 90% of situations unless you're a hardcore mall crawler, then it's mandatory.  Grin

Agreed, I am trying to talk him into getting rid of the crazy shackle thing that the PO installed. getting rid of the body lift is a good idea also.
